Synote was envisioned as a central, easy-to-use platform where students can find, share, and download study materials specific to their course, year, and semester. Project-wise designed and developed Synote from the ground up, focusing on intuitive navigation and a simple way for students to access the academic resources they need to succeed.

Audience Research

We started by thinking about what university students really need. They’re busy, often stressed, and need quick access to reliable study materials. We looked at how students currently find notes and what makes that process hard. This helped us design Synote to be a real solution, making it simple to find exactly the right notes for the right class and semester, saving them time and effort.

Implementation

Our design for Synote focused on making it super easy for students to get around. Clear search, simple filters for course, year, and semester, and an obvious download process were key. On the development side, we built a robust platform that can handle many users and lots of files. We made sure it’s secure, works well on all devices (phone, tablet, computer), and is easy for administrators to manage uploads and content.
